“Groooan…”
“Get lost!”
Crack!
Han Tae-yang’s furious slash separated the zombie’s head from its body, splattering rotten blood everywhere.
Unfazed by the zombie blood splattered on his face, Han Tae-yang cut down the next zombie. He moved with urgency, as if he was being chased. He seemed to have no time to spare.
“Ha-rin, you said they were on the upper floor, right?”
“Yes. Between five to seven people.”
The inside of the Daiso was a mess.
Zombies were shambling everywhere, and the floor was littered with items that had fallen from toppled shelves, leaving almost no space to walk on.
It was easy to imagine the desperate struggle that had taken place here.
“Huff… Huff…”
Han Tae-yang’s breathing was getting ragged. He seemed exhausted, probably because he was already tired from having his blood sucked by Kang Ha-young, and now he was forced to kill zombies alone.
“Are you already tired? Do you want to stop?”
“N-no.”
“Tell me if you can’t do it.”
“I-I can do it.”
I was just asking because I was worried he would collapse, but this guy was persistent.
“Then keep moving.”
“Yes… Damn it…”
“What did you just say?”
“Nothing. Nothing, sir.”
Han Tae-yang still had a subtly rebellious attitude despite being a slave.
And the same was true for his sisters.
“Ugh. Damn bastard…”
Ah-reum muttered curses through gritted teeth.
“Shh… Ah-reum… Endure it.”
Ah-ram glared at me with hatred while trying to prevent her younger sister from crossing the line.
While receiving the full brunt of their hatred, I kneaded Ah-ram’s breast with my right hand.
My left hand, of course, was fondling Ah-reum’s breast.
Unlike Ah-ram, who was trying to endure my touch, Ah-reum seemed unfamiliar with a man’s touch, letting out uncomfortable moans every time I fondled her.
It was a shame I couldn’t fuck them right away because of the situation, but I could at least touch their breasts. I had to make good use of the slaves I had captured.
I especially liked Ah-reum’s raw, virgin reactions.
“Ahem. Master.”
“Yeah?”
“N-nothing.”
Ha-rin approached me as if she had something to say but then turned away.
Her slightly flushed cheeks suggested she was envious.
Ha-rin liked being petted. She was probably worried that these two newcomers would take her place.
Meanwhile, Eun-ji simply nodded and moved a little away from me when she saw me walking with the two women on either side of me.
She was openly jealous, making no effort to hide it. I liked that.
“Eun-ji.”
“Yes, Oppa. What is it?”
“Take this. I got it from killing the named monster earlier.”
“Wow. Thank you.”
Since I was better at fighting barehanded than with a weapon, I gave Eun-ji Keshak’s Black Thick Claw.
The weapon’s effect wasn’t anything special. The blade didn’t reflect light, making it invisible in the dark, and it was durable. That was all.
But even if the effect wasn’t that impressive, Eun-ji’s reaction to the dagger was still a bit lukewarm. She looked like she wasn’t satisfied. She glanced at Ah-ram, who was nestled in my arms. She seemed sulky from having her place taken. It seemed like I would have to appease her.
“Hey, Ah-ram. Go help your brother kill zombies.”
Seeing an opportunity, I smacked Ah-ram’s ass as she tried to escape from my embrace.
Smack!
The feeling of my hand wrapping around her firm ass cheek was amazing.
Ah-ram’s ass was very bouncy and soft.
“Ugh…”
Han Ah-ram rubbed her smacked ass, gritted her teeth, and frowned.
She suppressed her anger and went to Han Tae-yang’s side to help him hunt zombies.
The sight of a woman forced to endure humiliation without any resistance or refusal was truly delightful.
“I’ll help you…”
“Thank you, Noona… I’m sorry.”
Han Tae-yang, who had been starting to stumble, forced himself to regain his composure when his precious older sister came to help him, apologizing in a small voice.
I wasn’t sure what he was apologizing for, but his voice, filled with deep remorse, conveyed a multitude of emotions.
Despair, for example. Or perhaps defeat.
“Eun-ji, come here.”
“Hehe… Yes!”
“Were you jealous that I wasn’t hugging you?”
“Huh? No. I wasn’t jealous. Hehe.”
Eun-ji snuggled into my arms, and her expression finally softened, looking satisfied. Eun-ji didn’t have breasts as big as Han Ah-ram’s, but since she had been clinging to me for the past few days, even her scent alone calmed me down.
Ha-rin, who was watching from the side, made a miserable face. She looked like she was asking why I wasn’t rewarding her, even though she was working as a detection dog.
‘This is going to be a problem, having so many women.’
I quietly asked Ah-reum, who was still biting her lip with a sullen expression,
“Do you want to help your Oppa too, like your sister?”
“Yes… Let me go.”
“Should I? Then give me a kiss on the lips.”
“Huh? What… did you say?”
I ‘asked’ instead of ordering her.
I wanted to break her pride. It was a simple manifestation of my sadistic desires.
“Ugh… Just order me.”
“No. I want you to do it willingly. Kiss me on the lips.”
“Damn bastard…”
You might think she was being disrespectful for a slave, but I had allowed it on purpose.
I wanted to see her rebellious side. It was always more fun to crush someone who was still struggling.
“Huh? Your brother is going to collapse soon. You should go help him. Are you going to leave him like that? He’s going to die.”
“Damn trash…”
“Go on. The longer you take, the greater the burden on your brother and sister.”
A tear rolled down Ah-reum’s cheek. Her tightly clenched fist trembled slightly. It was cute.
Had I teased the precious virgin too much?
Well, whatever. I was going to fuck her later anyway.
And Eun-ji and Ha-rin were enough for pure love sex.
I wanted something different now.
It wouldn’t be fun if all my slaves were too obedient.
There had to be some spice every now and then.
Kiss.
“Ha. Good.”
Ah-reum, her cheeks flushed red, finally kissed me on the lips.
The moment our lips touched, I grabbed her breasts while looking at her face, and forced her into submission.
“Ugh…”
Ah-reum let out a pained moan, her face contorted.
I lightly licked her pierced earlobe.
Feeling the cold metal and soft earlobe with my tongue, I whispered.
“You. Are. Mine.”
“Ugh…”
“You’re mine until I die. Your virginity. Your innocence. Everything about you belongs to me. Understand?”
Kiss.
I kissed Ah-reum’s forehead as if I was leaving a mark on her.
It felt strange saying these lines that a third-rate villain would utter. It felt like I had actually become a villain.
Or was I already a villain?
“Please… let me go now. I already kissed you.”
“Okay, I got it. Go.”
Ah-reum roughly rubbed her forehead where I had kissed her as if it were dirty, and went to her siblings.
“Ha-rin, come here.”
“Yes, Master!”
Ha-rin, who had been glaring at Ah-reum’s retreating figure, quickly ran to me and presented her head.
I roughly ruffled Ha-rin’s hair since she wanted to be petted. It had become a habit of mine to pet her hair, and she always presented her head to me first. Like a dog or a cat.
“Oppa, are you okay?”
“Yeah. I can manage. I’m sorry. I should have avoided them like you said. It’s all my fault.”
Ah-reum quickly ran to help Han Tae-yang. She was trying to take care of her older brother in her own way.
“It’s too late to apologize now…”
“Noona, I’m sorry. Because of me… Sniff.”
Han Tae-yang, whose attacks were becoming dull and whose speed was decreasing from fatigue, forced himself to regain his strength when his sisters came to help him.
‘He has no choice but to force himself. They were all captured and enslaved because of him.’
Apparently, the three siblings had been captured by me because Han Tae-yang had strongly insisted on attacking us. He must have thought he could handle us since we had many women on our side.
“Damn it… because of me…”
His voice was filled with deep guilt, regret, and lament.
He was experiencing a full-blown self-loathing and despair scenario all by himself.
‘You should have avoided us then.’
Seeing a man crushed and broken by helplessness gave me a strange sense of exhilaration.
Perhaps because I had lived my whole life being looked down on, being in a position of power was even more enjoyable for me.
I didn’t feel like I was doing anything wrong.
If I had been weak, I would have been the one being robbed.
“Ah, Oppa. You picked up that whistle-like thing earlier, right?”
“Yeah. I put it in my pocket.”
“Hehe. Of course. There’s no way Oppa would forget something like that.”
Was Eun-ji feeling a sense of crisis due to the appearance of a virgin? She was acting more affectionately than usual.
By the way, Kchiah’s Black Whistle had the effect of summoning nearby zombies, but I didn’t have a use for it right now, so I kept it safely in my pocket.
I figured I could use it to attract zombies by sacrificing a slave when we were in trouble, or have a slave infiltrate the enemy lines and blow the whistle like crazy.
As I was imagining how to use the Black Whistle, I heard a yawn behind me.
“Yawn.”
It was Kang Ha-young. I turned around and saw her yawning widely. She then casually kicked the head of a dead zombie.
She was a bit calmer now after drinking blood. She was quietly following me without any complaints.
‘It’s better when she’s quiet.’
Thinking that, I climbed the stairs and arrived on the third floor.
As soon as we arrived, Ha-rin pointed her finger at a spot.
“There. They’re gathered in there.”
Following Ha-rin’s directions, we arrived at the staff room, also known as the break room, inside the Daiso.
The entrance to the staff room was filled with recently deceased zombies. Judging by the claw marks all over the door, it seemed like those who had entered earlier had locked the door, leaving those outside to be brutally killed by zombies.
But strangely, I hadn’t seen many special zombies on the way here. I had seen the named monsters at the entrance of the Daiso, but there were no special zombies inside or outside the store.
There had to be a reason why this place was spared from special zombies.
‘Aha, all the aggro must have been drawn to us last night.’
That made sense. The special zombies in this area must have all gone to us, sparing the Daiso.
I had unintentionally saved the survivors here.
How dare they have their lives saved by me for free?
This was outrageous.
“This won’t do. I have to enslave them all.”
“Oppa, weren’t you planning to enslave them all from the beginning?”
“Of course.”
After killing the remaining zombies lingering at the staff room entrance, I approached the door.
I didn’t open it immediately and kept some distance. I could be attacked by those inside as soon as I opened the door.
I had seen a few people with bows when I came here last time. There might be archers inside, so I couldn’t let my guard down.
“Is anyone inside? Come out on your own. Or should I open the door and go in?”
There was no response. It was dead silent.
“You’ll get hurt if I open the door and go in.”
As I raised my hand to break down the door with tentacles, I heard murmurs from inside.
“We’re coming out! We’re coming out!”
The door opened with a gruff voice.
Clank.
The dented door creaked open, and people in a sorry state stumbled out.
There were six people in total.
A sturdy-looking man in his 50s, an extremely obese man, two ordinary-looking women in their 40s, a mean-looking old man, and a delinquent-looking kid.
“Wow. Fuck.”
There were no decent-looking women? Well, I wasn’t too disappointed. I had already gotten two thanks to Han Tae-yang.
But the obese man and the old man seemed useless.
And I didn’t like the delinquent kid’s hostile gaze.
‘How did these people survive here?’
I remembered that there were a few Awakened here before.
“Are there any Awakened among you? Raise your hands.”
“Awakened? What’s that? Oh dear, I’m dying.”
The old man started nitpicking from the start. I would let it slide once.
“Sigh.”
I drew the ritual dagger since these people seemed to lack a sense of crisis. Eun-ji and Ha-rin also readied their weapons.
The atmosphere instantly changed, and the six pairs of eyes looking at me wavered.
The Han siblings watched the situation with indifferent eyes, perhaps from exhaustion or apathy.
And Kang Ha-young was licking her lips while counting the number of people.
“One… two… Wow. Six. Wow. Slurp.”
She was already thinking about eating them. Crazy monster.
“I’ll ask again. To the Awakened here, raise your hands.”
“H-hey. Young man, calm down. Let’s talk about this…”
“Lady, answer my questions if you don’t want to die.”
“N-no! Hey! What kind of language is that?”
“Old man. You’ll die if you keep babbling.”
“N-no… What…?”
Old man. Two strikes. Designated for human sacrifice.
“I’m asking one last time. Are there no Awakened among you?”
I asked with a frown, and the obese man answered awkwardly with a hesitant expression.
“W-well. They all… went out to fight… and didn’t come back…”
What? They went out to fight and didn’t come back? They weren’t prevented from entering, were they?
But more shockingly, this guy was a woman?
I could only tell from her voice. She looked exactly like a man though.
“Hey, you didn’t lock the door and leave them out there, did you?”
“N-no, that’s not…”
“Whatever. So, there are no Awakened among you?”
I asked more forcefully, and this time the delinquent kid glared at me and talked back.
“Hey, mister. Why are you threatening us?”
“A delinquent… talking back?”
How did this idiot survive the past week of the apocalypse?
Was he spoiled, or did he have incredible guts, to not fear someone with a knife?
Did he think he wouldn’t die even if he was stabbed? Or did he believe that I wouldn’t kill him?
“Sigh.”
I could only sigh.
I suspected that these six were parasites leeching off the Daiso group.
But I wouldn’t give up just yet. At least I had secured plenty of blood bags for Kang Ha-young.
As I could see from the exhausted Han Tae-yang, who had been drained of blood, being Kang Ha-young’s personal blood bag was a painful, tiring, and agonizing experience.
This kind of work should be done by useless non-Awakened people, not Awakened ones. It was a waste of manpower.
“Ma’am. Are you good at making doenjang jjigae?”
“Yes, I am. I make very delicious and savory doenjang jjigae.”
“What about you, ma’am? What are you good at?”
“J-jeyuk bokkeum. I-I worked part-time at a side dish store.”
“Okay, you two pass. Step aside.”
“Oh? Oh. T-thank you, young man…”
I had found my meal prep team. I could have these two women do all the chores like cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
“But sir, you’ve been quiet all this time. Is there anything you’re good at?”
“I’m good with… tools… and I know a bit about electricity, and farming. Yeah, I can farm. I used to grow tomatoes and lettuce on the rooftop. I know about soil and fertilizer. I’ll be helpful.”
“Okay. You pass for now. Go stand next to those ladies.”
The man in his 50s also passed for now. He seemed like he could be helpful in many ways, so I would keep an eye on him. If he was useless, he would be demoted to a blood bag.
I branded the foreheads of the three and made them my slaves.
“Now, the three of you are left.”
The obese woman who was glaring at me, the clueless kid, and the damn old man.
“Do you have any skills?”
“I-I…”
The woman stammered, sweating profusely despite the cold winter.
She was quite fat, so her blood might suit Ha-young’s taste.
“Ha-young. Do you want to eat this one?”
“Uh… Well. I guess I’ll eat her if you give her to me?”
“Hmm. I see.”
I glared at the obese woman again.
If she was useless, I would offer her as a sacrifice right here.
“I! I-I’m good at Japanese! I speak Japanese fluently!”
“What? Ha. You fail.”
This wasn’t Japan. What use was being fluent in Japanese?
Just become a sacrifice for my Human Sacrifice skill.
“Old man, what can you do?”
“I-I…”
“Ha-young, what do you think about this guy’s blood?”
“Uh… It looks too old and stale. I guess I’ll drink it if I’m hungry?”
“You bastard! Just kill me! These damn bastards! Do you think I want to live like this, seeing this disgusting sight!?”
“Yes. Old man, you fail too.”
The old man yelled his last words and volunteered to be a sacrifice.
I glared at the remaining kid.
He, who had been glaring at me until just now, lowered his gaze. He must have finally learned his place.
“Now, you’re the last one.”
“I-I’m healthy. I’ve never been sick. I’m very healthy.”
“How old are you?”
“T-twenty.”
“Master. This kid… smells sweet. He looks delicious. Huh? Am I hungry?”
She was already hungry again? This was crazy.
“So, four of you survive, and two of you die.”
“W-wait! I’m not dead yet!”
I grabbed the obese woman’s neck as she struggled.
“You’re going to die now.”
Sizzle!!!
“Argh!!!!”
The disgusting smell of burning flesh spread along with the woman’s screams, which were quickly silenced.
Thud… Splat!
A human being, screaming and struggling, had her neck ripped off and died.
“I offer this to you.”
I sent a soul to Kashnax with Unholy Touch.
[Too greasy.]
The god’s taste review was harsh.
And so, I gained another Karma.
◇◇◇◆◇◇◇
T/N – Huh. Well, about the Han siblings, I can only say it was their own fault for looking for trouble the way they did. They didn’t need to engage the MC’s group yet the brother let his lust make the decision for him and the sisters, despite their initial reluctance, let him do whatever he wanted in the end. What I’m getting at here is that none of these people are decent.
The same is true for the survivors in the Daiso store. I find the MC’s conclusion about them locking themselves in the room when the store got attacked highly likely.
In the end though, it doesn’t matter much. Whether a person is nice or not, they are going to get branded by the MC anyway since he’s a scumbag. 🤷♂️
If you find any mistakes, feel free to point them out in the comments.
Important Notice – So I’m going to be transferring the release schedule of this novel to Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday to join my Barb Labyrinth one. So you can expect a chapter release tomorrow. Thank you very much for your continued support 👍
