good novel, would recommend it ππ
One of the better ones in this site
3.9/5 for me. You guys seriously gotta write proper reviews instead of simply saying you reccomend/do not recommend it.
This novel follows a very generic template: the mc has a certain backstory (i dont want to spoil it) and attempts to nurture a gloomy side character.
Throughout the story, in addition to revealing the mcβs past, there is some clash here and there between that side character and the original heroine. I dont particularly like the authorβs blatant favouritsm for the side character, almost making the original heroine a villainess but I digress.
Overall, it is actually really well-written, there is proper foreshadowing and character development. Itβs just really generic and I can see why web novels no longer employ βhot, handsomeβ characters. If you can handle the cliches and occasional fan girling every other chapter, give it a read.
