10 chapters in, really good so far. Great buildup of characters, some obvious but good foreshadowing of some future ones that’ll appear, somewhat unique magic that’s pretty interesting, and some clear misunderstandings that’ll build upon the story in the future. Oh, and the main characters good, not afraid to kill but not unnecessarily violent either… most of the time. He seems to have one trigger that’ll set him off, and that’s it for now.
This is an odd novel. Too many things happen behind the scenes…
surprised there isn’t a tragedy tag
