Honestly, I’d vote for restoring his memories, simply because it’s the “right” thing to do in MY opnion.
+ I feel that if they erase it, and later he somehow remembers by himself, he would be reeeeeeally mad.

I think it was, I believe it was implied that she sealed her self so she won’t die
