◇◇◇◆◇◇◇

Su-ah, having grown up as an orphan, was always alone at the academy.

Despite her gentle nature and youthful, elegant beauty, she was always alone.

This is what people said about her:

-Isn’t she a little strange?

-I mean, even if she’s devout, calling everyone ‘brother’ and ‘sister’ is a bit…

-Someone saw inside Su-ah’s dorm room, and it’s apparently filled with crosses.

-Ugh, creepy.

Moreover, since she lived a reclusive life, only seen in the dormitory, the cathedral, or during official academy schedules, Su-ah’s reputation among the cadets was less than stellar.

But they didn’t know.

That Su-ah herself was cultivating this reputation.

Su-ah intentionally enrolled in the Seoul National Academy and intentionally crafted this image for herself.

She didn’t want to get unnecessarily involved with others.

To fulfill the mission entrusted to her, she had to focus solely on a specific individual, and any unnecessary distractions during the process were unacceptable.

Her mission was ‘elimination.’

And the target of this elimination was ‘God R’hell,’ the leader of Illusion.

Su-ah’s mission was to eliminate God R’hell, the one who would lead Korea to ruin and plunge the planet into chaos.

And this was also the destiny of [Eternity], a group of planetary saviors.

Su-ah was one of its members.

She had repeated this countless times.

To eliminate him.

But every time, she failed.

The first planetary agent chosen by Eternity for this mission was ‘Choi Do-han.’

She had put in tremendous effort and employed countless methods to help him destroy Illusion.

But she faced repeated failures.

Every time she reached God R’hell’s doorstep, only to be thrown back but Su-ah clung on tenaciously.

Driven by the grand mission of saving Korea.

And this was her 52nd attempt.

The beginning was always the same.

She enrolled in the academy to make Choi Do-han the planetary agent for her mission, used the special skill [Blessing of the Mission] bestowed upon her by Eternity to help him grow stronger.

And gathered people around him who could contribute to his development.

Su-ah chose Han-na, Mi-jin, Perna Ella, and Professor Park Na-yeon.

This combination of four individuals created the greatest synergy for the growth of Choi Do-han, the agent of her mission.

She had tried other combinations, but they all resulted in catastrophic failures.

Therefore, with this group of four, Su-ah explored various routes to fulfill the mission etched into her as a member of Eternity.

But…

She only encountered repeated failures.

She agonized over what she was doing wrong and prayed countless times, but the answer remained elusive.

Planetary saviors were those who found their own answers, carved their own paths, and carried out their missions.

Moreover, they were not allowed to ‘directly’ intervene.

The salvation of a planet had to be achieved by its inhabitants to prevent recurrence and ensure sustainability.

Therefore, Su-ah chose ‘Choi Do-han’ as her agent and made countless attempts to save the planet.

And now, her 52nd attempt had begun.

A mission spanning decades could yield completely different results with the slightest deviation, so she followed the most promising route she had discovered through 51 regressions.

But..

‘What’s this…?’

A massive change, not a mere deviation, had occurred in this 52nd rewriting of the story.

And this change was something she hadn’t touched, something she hadn’t even considered.

It was the change in ‘Han Tae-jin,’ the villain.

In previous timelines, Han Tae-jin, after being thoroughly defeated by Choi Do-han for his stalking, went into hiding for a while.

Then, when his father, Han Chang-ho, died in an unfortunate accident involving Choi Do-han, Tae-jin would awaken and evolve into a villain on par with God R’hell.

Knowing this, Su-ah had tried to reform Tae-jin.

She had even tried to prevent Han Chang-ho’s accidental death.

But every attempt ended in failure.

Among the various routes she tried, only when Tae-jin became a mid-boss villain did Choi Do-han’s growth skyrocket, allowing him to compete, albeit barely, with God R’hell.

Therefore, Su-ah had no choice but to abandon the route of reforming Tae-jin.

Trying to force his reformation only increased the chances of failure.

But, in this 52nd attempt,

A ‘voluntary’ change had occurred in Han Tae-jin.

He had stopped stalking, and it happened overnight.

‘How…?’

During the 51 regressions, Han Tae-jin had never stopped stalking on his own.

In fact, this was the first time anyone she hadn’t directly influenced had changed on their own.

History had always repeated itself.

But Tae-jin had changed, and Su-ah was delighted.

That’s why she said to Tae-jin in the infirmary,

“Ho ho, how can I not be happy that the prayers I offered to God have finally become a beacon of light for you, brother?”

‘Beacon of light.’

Those words weren’t just for Tae-jin.

It wasn’t just an expression of awe towards the god of this planet.

It was like a blessing for herself.

For some reason, she felt that Tae-jin’s voluntary change would make this 52nd attempt her last.

So, she watched him closely.

To see what kind of story this change would create.

And what triggered this change.

She felt she needed to know the reason to trust him, so she secretly followed him.

But she couldn’t find a clear trigger.

She observed him at the academy and after school, but there were no unusual signs or peculiar behaviors.

Even if she tried to attribute the change to Illusion’s intervention, there were no clues.

However, one thing was certain.

‘Renia.’

During the 51 attempts, no one was by Tae-jin’s side.

But after this change, a woman named Renia suddenly appeared next to him.

Since it was highly likely that she was related to the change, Su-ah shifted her focus to observing Renia.

‘…She seems ordinary.’

But there was nothing suspicious about Renia’s actions.

She seemed quite close to Tae-jin, and besides her bodyguard duties, she lived in the same house and seemed to take care of the household chores.

Su-ah continued to observe Renia and Tae-jin, and before she knew it, she witnessed Tae-jin defeating Do-han in their sparring match.

‘Impossible.’

It was truly an impossible situation.

Choi Do-han, the agent chosen by Eternity for her mission, had fallen.

And she thought,

‘Perhaps…’

Perhaps Eternity’s choice of agent was wrong from the start.

Perhaps that was why she failed to complete her mission in the previous 51 attempts.

And then she thought,

‘Han Tae-jin.’

Perhaps she could bet her 52nd life on him.

Although she was apprehensive about this unprecedented development and the unexpected scenario, Su-ah decided to entrust Han Tae-jin with the mission of saving the planet.

Of course, she still needed to observe him further.

Tae-jin’s fate was always to turn into a villain.

Since he seemed to have a close connection to villains, she didn’t want to make a hasty decision.

But then, Tae-jin started confronting villains.

He, who was supposed to become a mid-boss villain, was now seemingly opposing Illusion.

Moreover, this time, he actively sought out and subjugated villains.

Like he was hunting them.

Therefore, a sense of certainty was slowly growing within Su-ah.

That it would be worthwhile to bet this life on him.

And she was curious.

What would be the ending of the story he would write?

If he, destined to become a villain, didn’t follow his fate and instead opposed Illusion, what kind of story would unfold?

Since his father was a spy for Illusion, the reformed Tae-jin would naturally become involved with them.

She was curious and filled with anticipation.

For the new story he would write.

And she decided.

She would prove that Eternity’s choice of agent was wrong.

She would complete the mission through her own decision, not Eternity’s.

And now, she was finally standing face-to-face with Han Tae-jin.

The one who was writing a new history.

And she bet on him.

She cast the special skill \[Blessing of the Mission] on him.

The same skill she had withdrawn from Choi Do-han.

This meant,

She was entrusting the fate of this planet to him.

Because it would serve as a stepping stone for his tremendous growth.

“I’m so glad you asked to join me for lunch, brother.”

Su-ah smiled sweetly.

◇◇◇◆◇◇◇

“Well, eating together is more enjoyable than eating alone.”

Being with Su-ah made his mind feel clearer, and a sense of vitality flowed through him.

But since it wasn’t an unpleasant feeling, he dismissed it as a psychological effect of being in the presence of a healer.

He replied to Su-ah’s comment with a casual remark about enjoying meals together.

It was just an excuse to use Telepathy.

Of course, he was also genuinely concerned.

Han-na and Mi-jin had friends to eat with, but Su-ah, with her poor social skills, always ate alone.

He felt a little bad for her, and he also wanted to use Telepathy to understand what she was thinking.

She was a heroine who played a fairly important role in the original story.

Knowing how she felt about Choi Do-han at this point, where the current situation was completely different from the original story, was also important to him.

He needed to adjust his plans accordingly.

So, he asked her directly.

“Su-ah.”

“Yes, brother.”

“Is everything alright with you and Choi Do-han?”

He asked, and immediately activated Telepathy.

But…

[The target’s magic power is higher than the user’s, so Telepathy cannot be used].

Telepathy failed.

The conditions for its use weren’t met.

‘Huh…? Her magic power was much lower than mine in the recent measurement…?’

He remembered clearly.

That was why he tried using Telepathy.

It couldn’t be an error with the measuring device.

They said it had never malfunctioned before.

Which meant… could it be…

‘Is Su-ah… hiding her power…?’

But why?

I became a stalker who chased after the heroines, only to be cut down by the protagonist. To survive, I decided to quit. I'm not the type to stalk someone anyway. Instead, I decided to enjoy monopolizing the hidden pieces I'd seen in the limited edition art book... but at some point, I started to feel like I was being stalked. Uh, um... It must be my imagination, right...?

Ah, heroine regressor, I see. Rare but they happen occasionally. It was probably set up as a much later reveal in the “original story” that Tae-Jin hadn’t read yet.

Tae-jin In these ancient regressions : a man who managed to match the power of a god 🫡
The guy was someone who weighed in the game.

It’s pretty interesting to think that Tae-jin has always been a villain in other time-lines because he basically had brain damage due to the dragon trying to steal his body lol

Damn that’s true. Its the combination of the Dragon and the fact he was alone , that’s crazy.

Makes you think that tae-jin was probably the original protagonist for this world but he had to many debuffs that he was looked over. Now the God of this world took matters in it’s own hand to save itself rather than rely on others.

I did not expect her to be a regressor especially an extraterrestrial one

Yes I was right! And I love the fact that her way of talking is purposefully to make her a weird, so she will likely have massive character changes later.
