As soon as she heard the gunshot, Lea Gilliard was convinced that something was wrong.

She immediately pulled the wrist of her superior, Julia, and practically shoved her under the table.

“Eek!?”

“It’s a terrorist attack, Regimental Commander!”

As a member of the Graveyard, the enemies they fought weren’t just the Titans.

Just a few years ago, it was a gloomy world on the brink of destruction.

Even for a frontline military unit, it was difficult to guarantee the security of the surrounding area, and all sorts of incidents occurred outside the fortress almost every day.

In the midst of that, Lea, who frequently visited the civilian villages formed around the fortress for “supply missions,” experienced it.

It was not uncommon for the escort unit to be attacked by armed gangs or bandits.

Rifles or pistols were a luxury.

They attacked with a variety of weapons, from who knows where they got anti-tank weapons, improvised explosives, and even captured machine guns.

If Major Luthers Edan – who was a captain in the assault team at the time – hadn’t wiped out all the gang forces, the Graveyard’s supply lines would have suffered great damage.

In that process, Lea herself didn’t know what would have happened to her.

After calmly evacuating her superior, Lea Gilliard immediately picked up the bread knife placed on the table.

The number of terrorists was a total of two.

Swinging the bread knife wouldn’t even be able to make a scratch, but if she stabbed it in the neck, she could at least subdue them.

-Keep in mind, Lea. Anything you can grab can be used as a weapon.

The voice of that man who had now left the military was heard.

The odds were sufficient.

She just needed to take away the gun.

If she rushed to the person closest to her, disarmed them, and immediately returned fire….

But there was someone who moved faster than her.

Bang!!

With the gunshots echoing through the air, the two terrorists fell almost simultaneously.

“Huh…?”

Lea’s gaze stopped on him.

It was the very captain-rank man she had thought had quite an atmosphere a little while ago.

He took out a revolver from his chest and subdued the terrorists one by one.

Waiters, bartenders.

There was no hesitation in the finger pulling the trigger, and his gaze was still quickly scanning the banquet hall.

Lea Gilliard could clearly feel how many lines of death that man had crossed.

He was of the same type as her.

Someone who had lived their entire life on the battlefield.

Someone who had become more familiar with the military than society.

But that wasn’t the only thing Lea was feeling.

Those movements, gestures, eyes, the way he held the revolver, breathing technique, gait.

It felt strangely familiar.

She definitely felt like she had seen it somewhere before.

And for some reason… what was this aching feeling in her heart?

At that moment, in Lea’s eyes, the image of the captain overlapped with the image of a man who had been sleeping unconsciously on the other side.

“Luthers…? Commander…?”

That name that came out without realizing it.

But the voice that flowed from Lea’s mouth wasn’t the usual emotionless one from the Graveyard.

“Ouch…!”

She clutched her suddenly aching heart.

“Ugh, ugh, ha…!?”

Her breathing quickened.

What, what is this?

What is this emotion… what is this memory…?

All sorts of thoughts began to swirl in her head.

It felt like she had experienced this before.

On the day when a small festival was held in the village near the Graveyard, Lea Gilliard had stubbornly insisted on attending.

Recently, the threat of gangs had been frequent, and a special alert had been issued, but Lea didn’t particularly care.

The naive thought that the gang wouldn’t be crazy enough to attack a village near the Graveyard.

Just as she was enjoying the festival, laughing with the villagers, the entire village turned into chaos.

It was an attack by the gang.

They were the ones who had been eyeing the village anyway.

They stormed into the plaza where the festival was being held, firing automatic rifles, and in an instant, everyone was taken hostage.

It was only natural that Lea Gilliard, who happened to be in military uniform, caught their attention.

-You belong to the Graveyard?

-Fuck, we caught a big one! Boss! This bitch says she’s from that damn cemetery!

-What? Bring her to me!

-Ahh!!

Lea was dragged by her hair and thrown in front of the gang leader.

A man twice her size looked down at her and let out a deep sigh.

-Eh, what is this? She’s not even an officer? You idiots!! To at least get a ransom, you should have brought a lieutenant or above! A common soldier is fucking….

-Then should we just let her go?

-No, we have to kill her. Why would we risk getting our faces exposed?

Kill her?

The muzzle of a gun appeared before Lea’s eyes.

-Well, you’re unlucky. We’re all struggling with this war and everything, so it’s a bit unfair for you to be partying here. We’d be angry, wouldn’t we?

It was the first time.

She had only fired a gun before, but it was the first time a gun was pointed at her.

Death.

As that terrible reality approached, she could only tremble in fear, unable to do anything.

The self-defense techniques Luthers had taught her, the counterattack techniques to induce the opponent’s carelessness, she couldn’t remember any of them.

-Wait, but she’s quite pretty, isn’t she?

-Well… Boss, honestly, wouldn’t it be a waste? These days, everyone is under a lot of stress… The other girls we caught last time were all….

-Oh, now that I look at her, she has a nice body too. Hey, you want to go somewhere with us? We’ll spare your life.

-Hey, why are you crying so much? You’re just changing affiliation. From a soldier to a gang member. Honestly, you must have been bored in that fortress too, right?

-We’ll make it fun for you~ It’ll be so much fun that you won’t be able to sleep! Hahaha!!

The frivolous laughter coming from all around.

At the disgusting gaze scanning her body, the moment Lea burst into tears she had been holding back.

Bang, bang, bang.

Suddenly, another gunshot rang out.

-Boss, we’re under attack!!
-What? Who’s attacking us!?

-Well, I’m not sure about that, but our guys are all getting wiped out! Hurry, hurry and come!!

The gang members surrounding Lea hurriedly ran to where the gunshots were heard.

Tap tap tap tap! Bang bang bang!
Boom!!

The fierce sound of firefight was heard, and then a calm silence settled over the village.

-Lea.

A voice calling out to her, who was crouching in fear.

Carefully raising her head and looking, Luthers Edan was standing there.

Just like the appearance of a cool prince rescuing a captured princess in a fairy tale.

-Lu-Luthers Captain….

-I clearly told you not to go, didn’t I?

-I’m sorry, sob… I’m sorry…!

Even while speaking in an angry voice, Luthers hugged her tightly.

Sobbing, Lea was in his arms for a long time.

Right.
That had happened before.

But when was that?

The memories were all jumbled.

The gang leader who had harassed her, she had killed him herself, not Luthers.

Two shots to the chest, one to the head.

She had finished with a confirmed kill using the Mozambique drill Luthers had taught her.

No, that’s not it.

Come to think of it again, there was no incident of a gang storming the village festival in the first place.

Moreover, not only her but also other people from the Graveyard, including Arwen, had enjoyed the festival together, hadn’t they?

In the first place, the gangs that had nested around the Graveyard had already been completely annihilated.

It didn’t make sense.

The memories were overlapping.

The same place, the same time, different people, different situations.

Then what the hell is this memory….

Just as she was confused, Lea witnessed the woman in the dress suddenly standing up.

The small, compact revolver in her hand.
The direction she was aiming at was the man’s exposed back.

Lea let out a scream-like cry.

“No!!!”

Her body moved before her thoughts.

She desperately ran to him and embraced his body.

Bang!!

With the gunshot, a terrible pain tore through her nerves.

She looked at the man with surprised and at the same time desperate eyes.

Lea herself didn’t know why she had moved.

She just felt like she had to.

“Lea, Lea!! No. No!! Stay with me!”

“I’m, so-sorry….”

With the last words she had heard sometime.

“I, I… I clearly told you not to go!! Why do you never listen to me!!!”

“Director Werner! The Central Military Police… has arrived…! Lieutenant Colonel… calm… down…!!”

Lea Gilliard’s consciousness faded away.

===

The Revolutionary Front’s terrorist attack that occurred in the Eastern Military District was quickly suppressed.

The forces of the Central Military Police under the Supreme Command, who were on standby near Branberg, arrived at the fortress under the guidance of Second Lieutenant Karin Maven.

They succeeded in securing the collaborators and leaders of the Revolutionary Front who were waiting outside.

They were greeted not by the success of the uprising they thought had happened upon hearing the gunshots, but by heavily armed military police forces.

They were subdued without being able to put up a proper resistance.

Naturally, the chaotic banquet was abruptly ended.

Lieutenant General Heinrich Rendal, the host, didn’t seem to have any intention of continuing the party after almost dying.

In the process, the total number of terrorists whose safety was secured was 23.

It was thanks to the personnel of the newly established “National Security Strategy Agency” under the Supreme Command who obtained the relevant intelligence and took swift action.

But there were not zero casualties.

First Lieutenant Lea Gilliard, who was shot while shielding the SSA personnel.

She suffered a serious injury with a bullet penetrating her shoulder and was immediately transferred to a nearby military hospital, but she still hadn’t recovered from her comatose state.

And naturally, the news of her reached Major General Arwen Orka of the Supreme Command as well.
“Lea, what?!”

But we’re dealing with a timeline regression, not memory mismatch/distortion. My guess is that the super computer Akasha brought back the memories for all people associatied with it (i.e. only the people in the graveyard fortress) but locked it deep inside their minds. The computer only unlocked the memories for Protagonist only. If it’s like this, then who’s to say that Lea can’t unlock the memories herself with a strong stimulus reaction?

Tem aquela parte que ele mandou apagar todos os registros = Memória, mas só que ele tinha sido despedido antes de sua posição de general Supremo e por isso o computador negou.
