I got transported into a novel where baseless characters run rampant, and readers’ random feedback is shoved in.

The thing is, I’m a third-rate villain.

The main problem of this harem novel is that author isn’t even trying to follow prerequisites he came up with. Support character is doing all the job and actively steal all power ups and greatly affect char progress and course of the story. There are better attempts with exactly the same idea for the story.

Looks like that was kinda intentional. With the title misleading.

Honestly I’m all up for supporting characters taking the buffs as you claim them to be. Web novel protagonists nowadays are run-off-the-mill wuxia protagonists actively stealing all the opportunities from other characters. While it makes for an “OP” protagonist, the power dynamics are much scuffed and the heroines become damsels in distress

Honest opinions: The story is convoluted. There are 3 “main characters” and 3 different premises of the original game, sequel and fanfic.

The author tries to combine these in a unique fashion, but ended up creating several plot holes. In addition, the characters feel strangely similar to how they were portrayed in the fanfic: how they end up clinging to the “main character” because they were “non-foundational” or unique.

Yea its interesting, but also frustrating because the actual author is contradicting with the beliefs the actual protagonist had. In a way its a charm in its own, but I felt obligated to leave this review. Hopefully the author isekais me after reading this.
